Linen of Words is a music collective based in The Hague. Members Julie Hasfjord (voice), Leah Plave (cello), and Annick Odom (voice/clarinet) each have very eclectic backgrounds. Annick Odom, who grew up in the Appalachian mountain region of the USA, plays folk music as well as contemporary classical music. In this project, she invites Tiziano Teodori (electronics/flute) to join them in reimagining songs she learned from home as well as several self-composed pieces. Together the four musicians have created a world where tradition and experimentation meet.

The program mixes folksongs, stories, and new work seamlessly for a concert filled with love, heartbreak, humor, and a touch of nostalgia.
