Embracing experimentation like never before, Rewire 2021 will aim to highlight the different ways that artists have been creating and presenting their work under physical restrictions, continuing to champion forward-thinking music from all over the world. Exploring the broad possibilities of digital collaboration, interactive experiences and live-streaming, Rewire takes on the challenge of connecting artists with each other, and their audiences, digitally. The program will feature online live premieres, commissioned works, exclusive film screenings, radio shows, talks and much more. Staged across a diverse range of media, Rewire brings together artists from different disciplines and time zones to approach the question of how live music can be presented in 2021.
