radio LOOS VII: on art, disability, barriers, and chances
This is the first feature on art, disability, barriers, and chances. You will hear works and interviews from and by disabled musicians, composers, actors, writers, and dancers during this hour and in the coming editions. Discussed are topics like physical barriers that artist who have an impairment face in their education, in their work environment, while traveling, and in life in general. The interviews include a dancer and a composer who are neuro-diverse and related to us what that means in their field of work. We will also hear about the creative process of a deaf composer and singer. The next edition will also include music and theater excerpts dealing with the the extermination of disabled people during the holocaust - a part of the genocide that is often neglected in history and in the media.
