Three feathers of the same bird.
Three completely different colors, on the same bird. These feathers are very rare. They are Yusiela feathers, from the magical creature Yusiela, the bird goddess from the Amazone Indians. The one who hears the bird sing, is said to be in good health for the rest of his life. But most important of all, the birdsong enchants humans, which leaves them inspired for making music and poetry for ever.
Trio Yusiela presents RGB, a show in three colours.
Yusiela's Sonja Gruys - soprano and great bass recorder, Carlos
Vaquero - flute, and David Jimenez - piano will enchant the
audience with their improvised song in three colours, with poetry by Marco Molling.

A solo for alto sax and computer. I use lot of extended techniques playing the saxophone and made a library of this sounds that I play back in randomized structures with the computer. At the same time I use similar sounds for live playing in an improvised interaction where both sources are at the same time processed in different ways.
The Norwegian duo Ballrogg (www.myspace.com/ballrogg) is bass and reeds in an acoustic setting, balanced with improvisation and semicomposed originals. The music is wandering from interferens to fully distorted amplification. Saxophone and clarinet player Klaus Ellerhusen Holm and double bass player Roger Arntzen is touring Europe in October and are giving a fortaste of their next album. Bagatellen (US) said this about Ballrogg´s debut album: - "This is an excellent debut from a pair who have clearly not only set the bar high for themselves, but for the music as a whole.”
