SELF_RESOLUTION
an audio-visual real time performance by Andrea Lange / 2008-2010 (always in progress between art and sound performance) / duration about 30 min / shown in Mannheim (DE), re-new digital arts festival Copenhagen (DK), WRO 09 : 13. media art biennale Wroclaw (PL), transmediale.10 Berlin (DE), Laznia Art Centre Gdansk (PL)
An analog sound composition is generated live by four circuit bend radio sets.
The generated minimal sequences depend on the passing time and the electricity which is running through the little machines and my own body.
This builds the basis for the audible sequences.
I although use short cuts from radio signals to remember their original meaning and to have some human voices confronted with the clean artificial waves. Every radio has a digital clock that is showing a transformed picture – caused by short circuits, too. The pulsation of the sound is directly connected with the pulsation of the clocks. The LEDs of the radio clocks are projected at the walls to get an even more physical feeling for the beating sound.
The repetitions of the main rhythm of sound and visualization symbolize a movement in between - without origin and ending – connected with the most elementary motion within our self. The built radio-sound-machines cannot be really controlled. Sometimes I just can react to their live actions, a kind of conversation through time and space:
CONTROL and LOOSING CONTROL
‘BMP/BPM ~ Light Synth‘
Form and light generate sound. An invention of the early ’20 used for film and the first synthesizers. A beautiful and magical concept but always covered in a big machine. I’m undusting and celebrating optical sound by making instruments, installations and doing performances where the visual part of generating sound is at least as important.
'BMP/BPM ~ Light Synth' or informal 'white wheels' which I'll show is the first instrument I made.

VISUASMATIC CRAFT
Michele Bagaglio born 1981 near Milano, studied composition and sonology in Den Haag, flamenco guitar in Rotterdam. Presently active in Brussels. All-round musician, produces for choreographers and dance floors, performs live electronics in various settings, accompanies flamenco dancers on guitar, teaches electronics and guitar."
Claudia ignoto, born in 1980, studied art in the art academy in Den Haag, had several exhibitions in Holland and abroad, now work and live in Brussel, performing with musicians with live projections. In her work there is a connection between the nature and organic forms.
Augusto Pirodda, piano player born in Italy 1971 and now living in Brussels, played with many musicians mainly from the Dutch and Belgium jazz scene (Mark Murphy, Eric Vloeimans, Jean Jacques Avenel ,Ben Sluijs..).
Among the most important collaborations there is the meeting with the Dutch artist performer Neel de Jong (together they perform in the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh and Dublin and many other international venues), and a trio record named "No Comment" , recently released by the German label Jazzwerkstatt, with two of the most important figures in Jazz: the bassist Gary Peacock and the drummer Paul Motion.
In 'VISUASMATIC CRAFT' they try to find a way to make this three worlds (Electronic , Acoustic and Images) come into one.
